29 Oct Equipment Donation for Badulla Hospital
Badulla Hospital last week received a donation of medical supplies from the team of 98 Acres Resort and Spa to enhance its services for people in the area. The consignment of Medical Supplies included set of Cervical Collars.
A cervical collar, also known as a neck brace, is a medical device used to support a person’s neck. It is also used by emergency personnel for those who have had traumatic head or neck injuries, and can be used to treat chronic medical conditions.
The donation of these essential medical equipment will be utilised for the betterment of the thousands of patients who depend on the Budulla General Hospital for treatments. The handing over ceremony was graced by Mrs. Nalini Abeyratne of 98 Acres Resort and Spa. This CSR initiative of donating essential medical equipment is to enhance the quality of life experienced by Sri Lankan’s and is a noble cause which 98 Acres Resort and Spa is exultant to have sponsored.
