28 Jan Tables For the Temple Dhamma School
The Ella Temple had a shortage of tables for the kids studying at their Sunday Dhamma School. Sunday school is where the children are taught about their religion which is Buddhism. This is conducted at every temple around the country and kids who are still in school attend every Sunday to learn about Buddhism and it’s values.
The tables were a requirement so we made sure to take care of the shortages. These tables were made with the discarded wood that was used at the Uva Halpewatte Tea Factory and 98 Acres Resort, and not by cutting down any trees unnecessarily, as we always strive to be as Eco Friendly as possible.
Furthermore, these tables have multiple purposes, they not only used during Sunday school, they are also used for other purposes at the temple such as Alms giving, and other such occasions held at the Temple.
